Dr. Richards completed his clinical training at Harvard Medical School and is a Fellow of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies. He is Board Certified in Behavioral and Cognitive Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology and is also a Fellow of the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies. He has taught on the faculty at Seton Hall University and has served on the clinical staff of The American Institute for Cognitive Therapy with Robert Leahy. Dr. Richards has also received advanced training from Aaron Beck in Philadelphia, from Albert Ellis in New York, from David Shapiro and Ira Roseman at the New School for Social Research, and from Theodore Millon at Harvard.
