M. Todd Sewell, Ph.D., ACT
Dr. Sewell, Diplomate of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy and Supervising Psychologist at the Institute, is originally from Farmington, New Mexico. He received his bachelor’s degree from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado and his master’s degree from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. He received his doctorate from the University of Nevada, Reno. Dr. Sewell completed in internship at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he received advanced training focused in the treatment of PTSD, mood disorders, and substance abuse at the South Texas Research Organizational Network Guiding Studies on Trauma and Resilience (STRONG STAR). His research interests are focused on trauma, emotion regulation, and social responses to sexual assault. His CV can be seen here.
